Over the last Christmas season, my grandaughter was participating in the Ballet Austin's Nutcracker. It is customary to give a performer at least one flower at the end of their performance. Living several states away meant I could not do this. As her mother headed up to see the ballet, I asked her to tell Jacy, in some special way, I was sending her a bouquet.
When the time came, her mom hugged her, and said the virtual (Texas) yellow roses, were from her nana and Grandpa Mike. Without missing a beat, she said, "Oh, I wondered who those were from. They were my favorite."
Maybe someone you know needs a virtual bouquet, or a virtual hug. "Every passing minute is another chance to turn around."
